Project Description
Upon arrival, we observed a lavatory drain issue with water backing up.
We informed the customer that in order to address the lavatory drain blockage, it would be necessary to disassemble the existing chrome P-trap. We also mentioned that chrome tubular pipes, when handled, can sometimes deteriorate and eventually crumble. The customer chose not to replace the P-trap. We proceeded by dismantling the piping to gain access for rodding, which allowed us to successfully clear the blockage downstream. Importantly, no issues were encountered with our cable during the rodding process.
After completing the rodding, we reassembled the existing piping, including the customer-supplied escutcheon flange, and tested the sink for both functionality and leaks. We are pleased to report that the sink drain is now functioning properly.
